Seattle really is diverse in locations. I love Chicago with all my heart, but in Seattle you can step out into the city, go to a mountain, stop by the ocean or find yourself in a sea of tall grass overlooking the bay and all within 45 minutes to an hour of each other. It really is an ecologically diverse city and area and sometimes I really miss the sights.
Thanks to this guy (Jonathan Canlas) I was able to attend this amazing workshop that he runs and it was in Seattle, my home! I had a great time and learned sooo much. I have recently made the switch back to film and have been loving it. I really do love film and it made me like working again. Without further ado, here is what I shot whilst out in the Emerald city.
These next three were shot on Kodak Ektar 100 and I know it's not a skin tone film, but I love the punchiness of Ektar. It really grabs me. The next three are shot on Kodak Portra 400 or 800 and you can really see the jump in color.
I am a Chicago photographer that shoots %100 film! I love photography and people and if you're interested contact me at momoko.fritz@gmail.com
