Bad day #1

Nina

I love Nina's knit well-knit shop. Mainly because it is located half a block away from my apartment and because her selection of yarns are the best. Her shop offers knitting classes and a very wide variety of needles, yarn, patterns, and accessories, so you can't lose. Nina was so kind to oblige me in letting me photograph her, her employees and her stunning shop.You can find Nina's on Division in Chicago.

Smith Ladies 9-20-08

Last weekend I was able to photograph the wee Smith girls and their mother. All three were so easy to photograph and Claire made it through the session like a champ.

I love the how unabashed children are about how they look and feel. It's a quality I wished that would sustain into adulthood, but alas, we would be marked as "crazy" if we continued to not care as we do now. I guess that's why we reserve this behavior for our children; that's why we keep them around, to remind us to quit caring.
