Chicago weather was not cooperating for these two for several weekends, but finally we had a perfectly overcast morning. We went up to the Botanical Gardens and it was a gorgeous backdrop for their engagement pictures. I really liked photography these guys, they were humble and sweet and super laid back.

It's taken me a long time to get to the point where I can spell their last name without looking at my phone. Look at this adorable Chicago family. We went around the Lincoln Park neighborhood to take these shots and then over to Oz park. It was cold, windy and totally May. They were troopers and we did manage to get some great photos despite the chill. I love Oliver's Michael Jackson pose at the top. He didn't know he just pulled an amazing dance move. As you can see has great energy for the camera. You can always count on four year olds for that.

Downtown Chicago provides an abundant array of photo worthy back drops. I loved photographing theses two all around downtown. Congratulations Kyle and Olivia!

Baby Jacob

This is Baby Jacob and he is happy all the time! He was a joy to photograph and it was hard to keep up with all his happy movements! But I got a lot of great smiles in. Look at that face!

The Rinquests 9-25-2010

These are the Rinquests and their beautiful children! I love the red hair on little Georgia which matched her sassiness, as her mother says and the boys were well boys. I really did enjoy doing family portraits for the Rinquests and it turns out they knew some friends from my ward, the Arnells. Who are greatly missed since they left Chicago.
